Love, Mom....
Caps for Cancer
Love, Mom.....Caps for Cancer was inspired by the love of my Mother helping me to get through breast cancer. Her endless creations of crocheted caps has helped many people to feel warm and calm while going though chemotherapy. Her unconditional kindness touches one patient at a time. Her strength lies not only in each cap she creates, but most importantly through her selfless actions of her creations. Our Non-Profit Organization helps cancer patients overcome their challenges through the comfort of each and every cap.
Thanks Mom

How to help
Helping Cancer Patients

Janann's Story;
In December 2016 I was diagnosed with Stage 3B Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I had no family history and no symptoms. My cancer was discovered through a routine mammogram. Two treatments into my chemotherapy I lost my hair. During a treatment I told my husband my head was cold and to retrieve me a cap from the donation box. I went home and told my mother about the cap. A few days later she showed up at my house with a handful of crocheted caps. This one act of kindness progressed into my mother continuing to make caps. Each time I went for treatment I would fill the box with the caps she made. After I finished treatment, she continued to make caps and I continued to fill the box. I eventually began supplying them to another infusion center. Through the touching act of kindness from my mother, my daughter and I have created Love, Mom...Caps for Cancer. Thanks Mom

About Us
Here at Love, Mom...Caps for Cancer, we see the value in everyone. We created Love, Mom...Caps for Cancer to provide a little warmth to every cancer patient.

Janann Beyer is a breast cancer survivor, and her daughter Helen has been her strength throughout her journey.

Helen is currently a student at the University of Northern Iowa. Throughout her mom's remission she wanted to give back to the cancer community. For the the past three years we have been donating Grandma's caps to infusion centers for cancer patients.

"It was hard to see my mom going through cancer and I always wanted to help her, and help provide comfort to cancer patients throughout the state of Iowa. It's the least I can do." Helen
